On March 3, 2025, prior to officially opening its doors for business, HCH Aviation Services opened it’s 43,000 pound
hangar door to shelter and repair an unexpected customer. The night prior an Embraer Phenom 300, N301AS, experienced a dual generator failure at FL430 and made an emergency landing at the Angelina County airport. Ready to offer a helping hand, HCH Aviation Services’ Director of Maintenance, Jeff Shives, coordinated with the airport staff and helped moved the jet, after replacing it’s blown tires, to the HCH Aviation Services hangar where it could be inspected, repaired, and returned to service.
